CAS0525 - Crazy about you

I made this card for fun to support Cara over at the Outlawz. May is date your mate month so she picked the theme of love letters. Well...since I don't have a special someone,  I just mage this for fun. CAS cats are so hard for me.  I've said it before. I Jane trouble stopping.  This card though,  came together quickly.  It took me longer to decide on the background paper than it did to make it.

Supplies: Neenah,  The Paper Studio,  Bazzill.  Stamps: Studio G.  Acessories: Cricut,  Create a Critter 2 cartridge, Cuttlebug,  Darice ef.

Crafty day - It's the little things

I can't really claim this card for crafty day this time,  but I did make it at an earlier crafty day we had.  I forgot all about this one.

Supplies: Neenah,  Bazzill,  The Paper Studio.  Stamps: Studio G. Acessories: Big Shot, SU thinlet dies, Nestabilities, Sizzix ef, Bazzill flower, bling. Ink: Memories.

Crafty day - You glow girl congrats for Belinda

This card was made for my coworker ands friend Belinda.  She luckily got a new job in the company after applying for awhile. Belinda loves bling so I knew I had to use glitter paper.  I think she'll really like this.  She loves my cats and always asks for them or reminds me of special dates.

I tried making a sunburst card by curing the pieces out, but couldn't get them to look perfect, so I scraped that and cut a sunburst out with my Cricut.

This was taken worth the flash so you can see all the glitter.

This was taken without the flash. The purple is dark and vibrant like in the glitter picture.

Supplies: Neenah,  Bazzill,  The Paper Studio (glitter). Stamps: Hero Arts (neon set), Fiskars. Acessories: Cricut,  Small talk tags & frames cartridge,  Edge to Edge cartridge, bling.

Crafty day - Hi

We finally had a crafty day where we girls get toget her to make cards. We normally get together on a monthly basis but life has been to busy for that.  I wanted to just make cards,  no theme, just because.  I of course didn't make many,  but I sure had fun. Since I hosted the day,  I did stop in the middle to make homemade mac & cheese.

I cased this card off Pinterest. I wish I had the besties stamp but I don't. I fussy cut the monsters and the speech bubble.

Supplies: Neenah,  SU kraft and tempting turquoise, Bazzill, Embellish by Dana. Stamps: Stampabilities, Studio G. Accessories: Cricut, Small talk tags & frames cartridge, Cuttlebug,  Darice ef,  Bazzi) bling, corner rounder.

GCC0526 - Gnome is where the heart lives

It's Monday and Memorial Day in the United States! And that means a new challenge has been posted for the Greeting Card Challenge over at the Outlawz. This week, our theme is Anything Goes since it is the last Monday of the month. Come on over and join along in the fun.

When I saw this gnome home, I wanted to create a little scene using my Freshly Picked cartridge, however, the card just wasn't large enough to add two gnomes so I went with the garden sign. I added wood grain to the sign, but didn't run it through the Cuttlebug. For some reason, that ef rips the paper and because I wanted to use the ink to make the woodgrain show up, I couldn't use waxed paper. I just inked the ef and then pressed to get the woodgrain added instead. The clouds were fussy cut from Amy Tangerine paper and the grass and sign were cut from my Cricut. I added different thicknesses of pop dots for dimension.

The sponsor this week is: Fitztown

GCC0519 - Happy Father's Day

It's Monday! And that means a new challenge has been posted for the Greeting Card Challenge over at the Outlawz. This week, our theme is masculine or Armed Forces Day. Come on over and join along in the fun.

This image just makes me laugh. It has a lot of significance for my dad. The guy doesn't look like my dad, dad isn't balding nor will he ever be bald, he doesn't wear sweaters or slippers, but the rest of it pretty much is true. The story behind why I chose this image is because I don't like to do dishes. When my dad is here for the winter, I don't do many dishes. He does them or loads the dishwasher. Yay for me. We have discussions regarding how the dishwasher doesn't wash silverware to my specifications so I used my Cuttlebug ef of silverware for the background. When dad is here and he uses Clorax cleanup, I make him wear the apron so he doesn't ruin his clothes from bleach splatters. I even had his buddy Carl wear the apron when he was here. Carl didn't like wearing it and scoffed when I tied it on him. When his buddy Joe was here last year, he did all the dishes and no one back home could believe he would do the dishes at my house. It looked like the Tasmanian devil came through. There would be water everywhere. I didn't care...I didn't have to do the dishes.

GCC0512 - Peace

It's Monday! And that means a new challenge has been posted for the Greeting Card Challenge over at the Outlawz. This week, our theme is anything with a flower. Come on over and join along in the fun.

I just love this cat and hippie-type things. This cat just makes you smile. If you have seen my posts in the past, you will know that I think I missed the hippie years by a few. But I refer to myself as a preppy hippie if there is such a thing. My dad said the other night when I finished this card, that he thinks I'm borderline as being a Yuppy Hippie? Does that even exist?

Our sponsors this week are: Inky Impressions and QKR StampedeHop on over and grab yourself a cute digi from either sponsor.

This picture was taken with the flash so you can see all the glittery accents in the papers I used.

I was invited to be a Guest Designer for Crafting by Designs for this week. The theme is anything for Mom or a special lady. Since this image is so perfect for Mother's Day, I used it again. This card will be sent to my grandma. No, I don't call her grandmother but that was the only grandma stamp I have. lol. The main panel is popped up with pop dots for dimension.

I used this card on Pinterest as my inspiration.

TCCCB0507 - You are fabulous Mother!

This week over at the Crafter's Cafe Challenge Blog, we are honoring our mom's or other special ladies. I found this DCWV paper on sale...I love it. I've been watching this pack for a long time so had to snatch it up. The pink in the papers didn't match the pink in my image after I colored it, so I colored the pink with the same markers I used on the image. Since I do not own a Happy Mother's Day stamp and didn't want to print the sentiment off my computer, I used You are fabulous!. My mom is pretty fabulous so it works perfectly. The image and the circle are popped up on pop dots for dimension.

Happy Mother's Day Mom.
