GCC0323 - missing you

It's Monday so that means there is a new challenge posted over at the Outlawz.

This week the sponsor is: All Dressed Up and the image is Purrrfect Together. The theme this week is:  Get Well or Missing You.

I'll send this to my dad's wife after awhile. When she was here for the winter and really bonded with my fat cat. Independence is a boy and all black,  but this will still work for her. I'll send it from Indy.

I used the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches #178. I used more papers from a Momento paper pack. I just love the papers in that pack.

GCC0316 - smile

It's Monday so that means there is a new challenge posted over at the Outlawz.

This week,  the sponsor is: All Dressed Up Stamps and the image is: too good to eat cakes. The theme is ribbons and bows.

This card didn't start out with this idea. I  couldn't get the idea to work out the way I had it in my head so I changed to this. I didn't want to just tie a bow so I used ribbon as my background. That was kind of fun and I like the way it came out. I cut the edges of the ribbon so added clear glue to the edges so the ribbon didn't ravel or fray. I used Glossy Accents on the cake frosting to give the design more dimension.
