Whohoo!!! This is my very first submission as a full-time Design Team member for the Greeting Card Challenge on the Outlawz Challenge board. I'm so excited.
This weeks challenge is "Smiles". I actually really like how this turned out. I had an idea in my head and it went together perfectly and exactly like I wanted. I used my new Groovy Times Cricut cartridge which I have been eyeing forever. I finally found it for $9.99 so had to get it. I just love it. I'm sure you will see some additional cards using the images off this cartridge. For those of you who know me, know I'm really a hippie at heart. I think I'm a preppy hippie if that makes sense or exists. I was born a few years too late to be a real hippie so I'll just live in my own 70s world even though its 2013. I love peace signs, neon colors, go go boots, rainbows, flare jeans, big sleeves, hoop earrings...you name it. Well anyway, on to the card and to show off how I wanted to use a smile. I not only used this super cute image, I also used my black and white polka dot paper. You see this on a lot of my projects when I can use it. : ) I popped up the smiley face image for dimension.
This month, the sponsor is Bugaboo Stamps. So come on over to the

I saw this sign a few weeks ago at a sandwich shop near work. I had to take this picture and since I mentioned hippies above, it's too funny not to post. Apparently, Vermont has a large hippie population or used to. My coworker and girlfriend thought I was crazy for taking this picture.
