This week is bittersweet for me. It is my last week as a Design Team Member on the Outlawz for now. Since I changed companies, my work is becoming more and more busy and I know the next few months will be hectic. To be fair to the team, sponsors, and to me, I felt I needed to resign for now. I may be back soon at some point once work is normal again.
The Sponsor this week is: SLS lines. and the image I chose is: Zombie Crossing. Hop on over to SLS Lines and grab yourself some great images. I really enjoyed this image.
I was asking my friend "can I use this, can I use this?" He said, "no, those are all Halloween items. You have to use Zombie items - they come back from the dead". I embossed the black background with my large wood grain embossing folder but turned it sideways to give it more dimension and make it look like it is wind in the dark night sky. I inked the edges of the tree, the hand, and the grave stone to make them look aged, and I dipped the fingers on the hand, in versa mark ink, and used red embossing powder to make the blood look more dimensional. I think I'm going to send this card to my dad's wife. She just loves the Walking Dead show. The second picture is a close up of the bottom portion so you can see all the dimension and how many different things are popped up on pop dots. Be sure and click on both pictures to see the dimension and all the elements. I tried to post a few different shots so you can see different things.
