It's Monday so that means there is another challenge posted over at the Outlawz. Come on and join in on the fun. This week, the theme is Anything Goes since it is the last Monday of the month.
The sponsor this week is Lacy Sunshine and the image is Senor Pickles. I thought this was a super cute image and would be great for a Cinco de Mayo type card. The margarita has real sea salt on the rim and Glossy Accents on the drink and lime to make it stand out and look more real. There is actually red Stickles on the pompom balls of the hat. I used this ScrapMuch? sketch from Pinterest. I love this sketch. I may be using this one again. Of course after the fact, I realized that the red piece below the zig zag was supposed to be longer and should have gone more to the right. I embossed the Bazzill piece with the SU large polka dot ef, but turned it inside out so would be more subtle. This saying is so appropriate for a frog in a margarita isn't it?

GCC0420 - sweet
It's Monday so that means there is another challenge posted over at the Outlawz. Come on and join in on the fun. This week, the theme is to use fabric on your project. I used felt (hearts) and the hot pink material below the grid die cut is some sort of fabric that came around a bouquet of flowers.
The sponsor this week is: Deedee's Digis and the image is A Little Something.
I used this sketch from Pinterest. It worked perfectly for this card. I used the bright Momento paper pack that I just love again. These papers and the bright colors just make my heart happy. I love that when you use a different accent color (this time I chose to accent the green), it makes it look so different.

GCC0413 - You make my day bright and April Showers
It's Monday so that means there is another challenge posted over at the Outlawz. Come on and join in on the fun. This week, the theme is Rainbows and/and or rain.
The Sponsor this week is Decosse's Dynamite Doodles and I absolutely loved the paper bundle we had to choose from. I couldn't decide so asked Lisa to provide me with both. I love the rainbow and raindrop papers and the raincoat and rain boots. I had an idea for each as soon as I saw the paper selections. I changed one of the patterned banners after I posted it last night. I kept looking at it and it didn't feel right. I wanted to use red for the rain boots on the chic (and had a scrap just the right size sitting on my desk that was perfect in size) so felt it needed one more pop of red in the card. I used this card for the rainbow card and this card for the raincoat card as my inspiration.
