My cousin just was married in California on August 17. I met his wife in October at Jeff and Kendra's wedding. I normally make a scrapbook wall hanging and frame it but since they didn't really have wedding colors, I decided to make a different kind of wall hanging. I used my Cricut and instead of using vinyl like in the one I saw on Pinterest, I used paper on glass and placed it behind glass.
I asked my uncle if he would cut out the frame for me since my Roto Zip some how disappeared. My uncle Dennis told me he would cut the back out of the frame for me so it would hold the glass in and still keep the clear look I was going for.
Shane and Lexie really seemed to like it.
The card I made, I kind of used a card I saw on a blog however, I changed it quite a bit. This isn't my favorite card.
Supplies: Bazzill, Recollections, Cricut, Elegant edges cartridge, Phrases cartridge, Martha Stewart Seasonal cartridge, SU border punch, Sure cuts a lot, ribbon, frame, extra piece of glass, SU stamp.

The wall hanging is great! You could do this up for other occasions as well....I was thinking for a birth, child leaving for college, etc. live the non-traditional wedding card too. TFS from BIF
